The time limit for responding to any request is 30 (thirty) calendar days. Occasionally it may take us longer than a month if your request is particularly complex or you have made a number of requests. In this case, we will notify you and keep you updated.

1. COLLECTED DATA

We collect the following data:

• “Personal Data” means any information about You which can be used, on its own or together with other information, to identify directly or indirectly You as a person. Personal Data has definitions that vary from country to country. By providing us your Personal data you agree with this Privacy Policy, acknowledge and agree with processing and transfer of your personal data;
• “Anonymous Data” means the data, where the identity has been removed. Such data is not connected with any personal data about You and does not let us identify Your person.

• The restaurant where you make a reservation;
• Number of guests;
• Reservation Date and Time;
• Your comment (which may include special wishes and preferences);
• Your reservation history;
• other information You provided to us in your profile.

Please do not include any sensitive personal information when filling out the “Your Comment” text box (e.g. allergies, etc.).

2.4. INFORMATION UPON BOOKING AND RESERVATION DETAILS AS A NON-REGISTERED USER

When you book or reserve, we also process the following details:

• Your name and, if applicable, your surname;
• Your telephone number;
• The restaurant where you make a reservation;
• Number of guests;
• Reservation Date and Time;
• Your comment (which may include special wishes and preferences).

Please do not include any sensitive personal information when filling out the “Your Comment” text box (e.g. allergies, etc.).

2.5. INFORMATION UPON CUSTOMER SUPPORT REQUEST

You may wish to contact our customer service for assistance or file a complaint. In this case, we will process your IP address and contact details as well as the content of your request in order to respond to your request.

2.6. INFORMATION UPON NEWSLETTERS AND PROMOTIONAL EMAILS

We may send you any promotional materials and newsletters only if You consent to such. The newsletter contains information about Website and restaurants as well as current offers. The legal basis for sending the newsletter is your consent (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a) GDPR). When you opt in to newsletters, we also process the following details:

• IP address and the date and exact time of subscription.

You can revoke your consent to receive the newsletter and the associated personalization at any time without incurring any costs. All you need to do is click on the unsubscribe link in each newsletter or send an email to the email address listed above.

Other data collection: RESERVBLE has a page on the Facebook platform. If you visit this page, data may be collected for market research and advertising purposes. Cookies are set for this purpose. This helps us to carry out statistical evaluations. For your convenience the location of each restaurant is shown on Google Maps. Google collects your IP address. You can find the terms of use for Google Maps at https://maps.google.com/help/terms_maps.html.

5. PURPOSES FOR DATA COLLECTION AND PROCESSING 

We use the information specified in Clause 2 of this Privacy Notice for the purposes listed below. If We have performed any data processing that requires Your consent, We have obtained such consent from You in connection with the specific processing activity.

5.1. To perform Our obligations towards you, namely:

• to administer and manage Website, provide You with respective services. This includes helping You to create and manage Your account and access Our services;
• to perform operations related to Your use of Website;
• to provide You smooth and secure access to Website and ensure a great user experience;

We do not host your data in third countries and all of our servers are located in Germany. If We transfer Your data to external parties outside of the European Economic Area, we ensure that the data recipients are either listed on the so-called “Privacy Shield” (e.g. Facebook), are subject to the “Binding Corporate Rules” or have concluded a contract with us in accordance with the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and from everyone other recipients are included in order to ensure the security of processing and an adequate level of data protection, as well as there is a legal basis for the data transfer and that Your Personal Data continues to be protected.

7. DATA STORAGE TERM

We retain the Data only as long as it is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which the data was collected. Due to regulatory requirements, most of Your data is stored as long as You are registered with Website. In case You want to delete Your account, all data (such as which segment You belong to or any other information generated for marketing purposes) is erased unless it is required by legislation or regulatory requirements that We retain the data. In that case, such data will be kept as long as required in accordance with the requirements of the applicable laws and/or regulations.

• Right to withdraw Your consent, however, the review will not affect the legality of the processing based on Your consent prior to the withdrawal (Article 7(3) GDPR);

If You want to unsubscribe from receiving marketing materials – in each e-mail there is also a way for You to unsubscribe or “opt-out” in any marketing We send you.

You should be aware that even if You do not consent to receive marketing messages, You may still receive the occasional service email from Website which shall inform You of any changes to Terms and Conditions and this Privacy Notice, as well as anything else that may impact the service We provide to You.
